Hello from southern California. I would like to meet someone who shares some common interests, to converse with as a pen-pal and to see whether a friendship develops over time.

My favorite past time is traveling, both domestically and internationally, and seeing the world through the eyes of other people. I have traveled extensively within the United States, Canada, Mexico, and most of Western Europe; and I would like to travel to parts of Asia and Eastern Europe in the years to come. I really enjoyed traveling to China and the Philippines earlier this year, as well as my trips to Thailand last year.

I plan to travel to Cambodia in November of 2008. I would also like to travel to Vietnam, Laos, Bali, Borneo, Brazil, Costa Rica, and to several of the Eastern European countries in the months and years ahead. You may want to view some of the photographs that I have posted from my trips to Thailand in 2007.

I enjoy outdoor activities (e.g., riding a bike, snorkeling, and hanging out at the beach). I also enjoy listening to nearly every type of music (e.g., alternative, classic, and modern rock, hip-hop, techno, classical, jazz, R&B, and reggae); except for Country [sorry, no offense meant to anyone out there who likes Country Western music]. Additionally, I enjoy discussing current world events and politics, and I am interested in learning other peoples' opinions and view points.
